Default What a weekend....

A couple of buddies and I were on the bikes all weekend. We put just over 400 miles on our bikes, going almost to the Louisiana/Mississippi border, clear into Pensacola, FL back to Mississippi. I haven't had a weekend like that since I've bought my bike, it was phenomenal and I hope to do it again. We hit one storm on the way home today, it didn't last long, but I'll be damned if it didn't pour on us.

Looks like we might head over to the Broken Spoke bike week in New Orleans next Saturday and hang out there for the day/night and come back Sunday evening. Anyone else going?

Nice! glad to hear you got to get out and burn up some miles.
Have fun next weekend, I am too far west to make that ride in 2 days.

The only pic I have HC is from my phone, I'll post it up in a bit. I don't have anywhere to carry my camera and I hate asking people I ride with to use some of their bag space. I feel like if I want to bring it I should be able to carry it. I am working on getting some throw over bags for my bike.

Here is a pic of my buddy Darren and I on a ferry from Dauphin Island, AL to Gulf Shore, AL.

Bikes in the pic:

05 Nostalgia- Darren's bike (obviously he's behind it), lots of goodies on it and beautiful bike

08 Street Glide- Stu's bike (he's behind my phone), set up for touring, he put 24k miles on it in the last year

08 Night Train- my bike (me behind it)

Hopefully not the gooey type of nut

Yep, that's an immature comment, but I couldn't refuse...lol

I love to take pics as well and always wish I had my camera with me. I will sometimes carry it in my back pocket, but it starts to be a little rough on the butt cheek after a while and of course I can't snap photos while riding down the road. I'll figure something out eventually.

While the camera is hanging around my neck, I leave it on sometimes so when I see something, I can just reach down and grab the camera and snap the shot...... like this one !!!

NOT RECOMENDED TO ATTEMPT A PHOTO LIKE THIS. PICTURE WAS TAKEN BY A TRAINED AND CERTIFIED IDIOT....

Not recommended! That's the first thing that popped into my head. That's quite the deal, hey I'm doing the ton, time to take a picture. No wonder you fit in so well around here, certifiably insane like the rest of us.
