Yep, Monday was rtw day and I enjoyed it so much that I rode to work again Tuesday. However.... as I sat in a b.s. meeting about the perils of unions trying to get into our workplace I couldn't help but feel the vibrations in the building from the thunderstorm from hell going on outside After the meeting it was still coming down pretty hard so I sat tight for a few minutes then put on the rainsuit and got rolling. I knew I should have worn the full face today I took more shots to the face than Jenna Jameson Oh well, I don't mind riding in the rain every so often, I suppose it helps with my feeling comfortable in the rain when it happens. But I am going to go out today and look at some new rain gear. Maybe Frog Toggs, I know they are light and don't take up any space but I kinda like the jackets with elastic waists and collars and such that can be tightened up a little bit. We'll see whats out there.

I don't know if there was one for yesterday but the Harley Million Mile Monday is June 29th and I'm pretty sure that you can go to the HArley website and enter your miles.

Wow, you have quite a commute, Scott. And Hammerhead..I don't know if Dry Rider rainsuits are still around or not, mine has served me well since '81 (which reminds me..I've got to see if it still fits me- I have my doubts- I don't want to find out otherwise next downpour.

I do facility maintemance for a large company with many many locations all over the state... lately and for the next 3 months my commute will be less that 30 miles each way..... for the last 6 months it has been an average of 75 miles each way... yesterday was a training meeting and the class was 148 miles away.... so I wish I could ride every day like my last job, but I gotta carry a full utility truck loaded with tools...hard to do on the bike..

Million Mile Monday is Harley sponsered... last year they hit 3 million miles and you have till the next day at noon to log it into thier HOG site.

I don't ride to work much unless I don't feel like taking the truck. My report to work location is 3 miles from my house. Not worth riding for that. I get to that location and can take the work truck from there to my other facilities. I do sometime for go the work truck and burn my own gas but not as much once gas reaches $3 a gallon.

Starting Jan 5 2008 i got to ride every day to work until I changed jobs in August, 2008 I miss those days. I rode rain or shine... didnt matter... 28* to 105* I was gonna try for every work day of the year, but the better job for twice the pay was worth it.
