Could be worse. Flip that thermo - meter upside down and it could be 901 degrees in the house with the air on and only 98 outside. Hey isn't there a breeze off the ocean anyway?

we are about 45 minutes form the ocean. but in the morning, it can get chilly in the middle of the summer. Of course chilly is like 65* compared to 100* in the afternoon...

Looks like Nor Cal and Texas are getting our weather! Of course we are getting our usual 110 days here but it's a Dry Heat! Welcome to our World! Rode to Yuma Friday 210 miles round trip. Nice morning ride but coming home it was 112*. Stopped and took a break at the 65 mile mark with 45 miles left to go to the house. I had to Wet the long sleeved HD shirt and head covering down and hit the road some more. Nowhere to stop but the side of the road. Looking into a cool vest and headgear for future rides.

I know how you feel, the last couple weeks down here have been toasty. I leave for work at 3:30am and it's averaging 80* that early in the am. Then the humidity kicks in

Here in Houston we've had broken records everyday the last couple of weeks. Temps in the afternoon run 106 - 108 but the humidity has been low in the 40 - 50% range. Normal this time of year is about 92 -94 but with 70 -80% humidity. I rode a little Sat and Sun and it was like riding in an oven. I don't know how you guys out west ride in it and I don't know which is worse, high heat or high humidity. Oh yeah, and I'm an AC contractor.......

The two hottest places I ever spent time in wher New York in june and Houston in August. While Houston was hot I still think lower Manhattan was much hotter in June. The tall buildings and lack of air circulation made that place the closest thing to hell I ever experenced. Not to mention that they let the garbage build up on the sidewalks all day long and the smell of the ocean 7 blocks away drifting in from Battery park. The experence was one I don't think I will ever forget.
