Default Baby Cops - Respect for elders a thing of the past?

A friend and I got pulled over Sunday. Yes we were fockin' around and deserved it. My problem is that when (right off the bat) a 28 year old punk biatch feels he can talk to a 51 and 55 year old like his children then he was trained improperly, needs a beatin' or both. I have no problem with a man doing his job and I always - initially - show respect for the uniform, I'm not going to fock around, break laws and then piss on his shoes to boot.
My problem is the attitude these puss-a$$ "suburban" cops have. Inner city cops are so different from them it's incredible. I guess seeing real action on occasion can put things into true perspective. I was standing there deciding what it would cost me to tear this child a new a$$hole, with his high and tight greased up fagot haircut.
It still sticks in my craw that I let it go, let him go, probably a smart thing and I have to believe sooner or later Barney Fife will get his but as I write I am hot as hell! I'm sure he has no idea how close he was.

Just venting and if there are any cops reading this, no offense I realize all cops are not of this ilk, in fact most are not but if the shoe fits........................................

When I got out of the army I kept my Triumph in my parents garage, for awhile. They lived on the corner lot of a 4 lane blvd. (grassy island in the middle) and I was there one Sat. afternoon tinkering with the bike. I got on it without a helmet just to make a little loop in the side street from the short drive way (garage facing the side street) to the corner and back just to test the brakes or something. Just as I got to the corner a cop car went by...and by the time it took me to pull back into the drive way the cops (2) had circled the next block and blocked the drive way. The young driver got out of the car to give me a hard time about not having worn my helmet...which found me telling him in no uncertain terms (plenty of expletives, etc) what an ass he was (tossing something in about his mother if I recall) and how a judge would throw him and his case out of court if he were stupid enough to ticket me for it under those circumstances. Then just about the time the veins in his neck were about to burst...the older cop riding shot-gun burst out laughing...welcomed me home...explained to his new partner that he'd known me for years after having sat on that side street (often talking with me while I worked on my cars) just waiting to nab drag racers launching from the traffic light at the other end of the block...and assured the guy that I was just taking advantage of the situation to jerk him around a little.

Great fun for me...a good laugh for the older cop...and (uhh, well) to bad for the other guy I never saw again...

Terrific story Evo. LOLOL

Twin... I fully understand. I myself only being 30 know I'm heading towards being old because I look at some of these cops and they look like high school kids. I have a unique POV being my brother is a county sheriff and 2 uncles as local PDs.

my wife just cringes about the idea of me getting into it with a cop. I tell her, I know my rights and know that they are not ABSOULTE. I give them respect without earning it directly from me because they are in uniform and I know they have to put up with allot of ****. HOWEVER, when they don't give me respect as an unstanding citizen of the community, I tend to disregard the given respect.

I remember back in high school I had a car with all the windows tinted. (Michigan doesn't allow anything in front of the drivers head so no front doors or windshield) The car was all done up and such with the big bass thumping stereo, rims, chrome, exhaust, etc. I would get pulled over weekly for the windows but had a doctors note. Never got a ticket, most cops would run my record see nothing and let me go. But sometimes they would pull attitude. I would just laugh right at their face, knowing they had nothing on me. One cop came back and told me, you're free to go but I want to know why you have the windows like that, why not just wear sunglasses. I turned the car off and said no problem I like a good debate. Told him why, told him to have a good night, started up and left.

Basically, being I have family officers, I respect them. However, I know what makes a good cop and a bad cop so I have little tolerance for those that abuse or just plain suck at their job.

Twin, too bad that puke got your blood pressure up, he will get his one day I am sure.

Buzz started a thread about our experiences with cops.... this is a fun topic.

I went thru a yellow light one time and a cop pulled me over. I asked what for he said I ran a RED light, I says No... YOU ran the Red light, I went thru a yellow light. Then he tries to get me for speeding. I says well, now, YOU were speeding as YOU went thru the Red light. After a bit of bs back and forth, He wants me to sign BOTH tickets... I says NO, I didnt do anything wrong, maybe YOu sould sign them.... Then he points out that signing the ticket is not an admission of guilt, but that it was just an acknologement that I recieved them. so I signed them to avoid the next step.... going "down town". I says to him... ''see your sorry butt in court''......he didnt show up and the tickets were dropped. I was glad, cuz I had so many tickets at the time only 1 of them would have suspended my license for a year.

We have a few of these types around here. There is a State cop that tailgates people in his own car when he is off duty. He tailgates then passes and gives a brake test. He does this until the drive gets mad and does the same to him. Then the cop calls one of his buddies to pull the driver over and ticket him. This has happened to two people I know. This same clown goes to bars gets drunk and then tries to start a fight. When he gets a taker or someone threatens him he calls is buddies and has the person arrested. The funny thing is the cop is probably only weighs 140 pounds. I heard he got his clock cleaned a couple of years ago and just within the past year. These kind of cops were beat up going through school and now they think they are tough and they are going to make everyone pay for their past. I don't care if someone is a cop or not, respect is earned not granted.

Dick Heads come in all ages and sizes. Put a puke in a position of authority and no respect from this guy! Remain cool and very tactfully give the bastard a good tongue lashing. Hey I figure........Write me a ticket if I done wrong. If not.......Leave me alone. You whant a war of words I am game. I will leave smiling and your day will be ruined.

The funniest part is that I (knock on wood) can't remember the last time I was pulled over.
