Sky is scheduled to have surgery Tuesday to implant a Vegus Nerve Stimulator in hopes of keeping her seizures at bay. It is a "pacemaker" type device which will be implanted under the skin of her chest with wires leading to a nerve in her neck. It doesn't seem to be a really invasive surgery but she is frail, always underweight. She has the same "never give up" attitude I see in so many of you...say a prayer for her that it goes smoothly and performs as intended. Thanks, ride safe and God bless, Sincerely: Shovelmike.
