I have voted for a Democrat twice because they were the better choice. Of course that was at the state level. As far as President the Left has hijacked the Democrat Party to where Fidel Castro looks conservative compared to Obama and Company. Hell don't take my word for it Hugo Chavez said so!

If I'm not mis-taken he simply means that if a body is Liberal it means he is Not Conservative,,,,, kinda like this-----If it's a rat it's Not a mouse,, if it's a cat it cannot Bark, uh, etc. etc..................

I voted for a Democrat once, Jimmy Carter. Never again, I still remember the 'misery index', 20% interest rates for Home Loans, mismanaging the agriculture industry, and can go on and on. Like was posted I think was in the 'Jokes' we are trusting our economy to a bunch of nim-wits that can't even make a profit running a whore house and selling whiskey. It's about time to rally the folks and raise a little dust. They aren't listening to us at the town meetings and it's obvious that they have forgetten just who voted them into the position they are at!

Twin it is not I who is confused. As Frisco so aptly pointed out, my "Confusion" is with your statement. Liberals are at one end of the political spectrum and Us bad guy Conservatives are at the other. Therefore your statement that "there will NEVER be a liberal or democrat conservative enough for you" is a non sequitur. In other words it does not follow.

It is obvious there will never be a Liberal who is Conservative enough because he isn't conservative at all if he is Liberal.

As far as Frisco is concerned I do believe he would vote for the better (read Conservative) Candidate, no matter the Party. Both Parties have let Us down. The Dems keep picking these extreme Left Candidates and the Republicans pick Democrat lite Candidates saying well where else are the Conservatives going to vote but for our slightly less liberal Candidate. John McCain is a great example of this. Ford and Bob Dole and Nixon are other examples.

Wow, my statement was fairly simple or so I thought. I was responding to Frisco stating:
IF a Black/Oriental/Mexican Handi-Capped Trans-Sexual Lesbian Dwarf Ex-Felon in the Peace & Freedom Party ran as a Conservative and promised to Up-hold all that I hold dear----- Only the Constitution,,, as it is written---- I'd throw my chips in on her uh, him uh, well you know,, and hope for the best.

And my response was that there will never be a democrat or liberal that is conservative enough for him to vote for.

SGT-You are basically agreeing with my statement saying it could never happen that way, for a democrat or liberal to be conservative enough, being if they were they would then be conservatives. I believe that was the point!

However there are the John McCain types who I would call a liberal republican or modest conservative. Maybe as close as it gets and he got our votes didn't he?

It is a good test of concentration and focus to try to keep on point even though the replies are often days apart and subject (sometimes) to at least a wee bit of Mis-interpretation..

We have to be sharper & more accurate than a Face-to-Face..

Twin, you need to reread my post. I said that a liberal cannot be a conservative. I never said a Democrat couldn't be one. Just right now the democrat party has been hijacked by the left. That doesn't mean that in the future there wouldn't be a democrat who is a conservative that could garner both mine and Frisco's vote. nuff said on subject!
