Default FINALLY...Home!

Monday afternoon I was once again reunited with my wife and kids after almost 2 1/2 years of not living with them. Many of you know I was in Mississippi for a while and then we sailed around South America via the Straits of Magellan. We made stops in Rio, Valparaiso, Chile and Lima, Peru. Good times to be had in all places.

Yesterday the wife took me up/over to Riverside, CA to pick up the bike where a buddies day was storing it and keeping it running for me. I think he kept it running for me more than storing it. When it left my possession it had a full tank and was on E when I got. No big deal she fired right up, put some gas in her and some air in the tires. I rode from Riverside to Oceanside (about and hours ride). It was enough to cure the hankering for a ride for a few hours. I'm ready to get back on ride.

You all should start seeing me more on the board now that I have a connection that is actually worth a crap.

See ya around

That's Great!!!
Thank you for your service to our fine country.

I would be honored to buy you a drink if I ever get to the south end of California, or if you wander up towards SF Bay Area...

Welcome back and glad to see you here and to know you are back on the road.

Sounds like your pal did you a favor buring that gas throug your Harley. Today's gas is crap and it goes bad fast. Burning it off saved you a lot of hassel.

Thanks everyone...I enjoy what I do and it's my pleasure doing what I do even though I may complain at times.

Buzz- I'm with you on the gas, I wasn't upset at all. Before I parked it I emptied the tank (by riding) topped it off with some 93 octane and put some sta-bil in it. Again, though I'd much rather it be taken on short trips and the fluids kept flowing through it than just sitting.
