Please join me in this prayer daily.
This is my Granddaughter Sky, age 7. Can't walk, talk, or feed herself but look at that smile. Anyone care to complain about their lot in life? Not me!

| | Re: Enjoying the warm days while we can. Thanks T Bone ans Psycho, Sky had a Vagus Nerve Stimulator put in, kind of like a pace maker. It's put under the skin on the chest with a wire up into the neck, it delivers a little jolt to a nerve at the base of the brain and interrupts the seizures....she did not have a single seizure the whole week end! She has much more energy without those seizures wearing her down.
Thanks so much again for your continued concern and prayers on her behalf. Ride safe and God bless, Sincerely: Shovelmike.

The guy I work with, his dad has Parkinsons... it souds like the same gizmo they installed in his chest, with the wire up the neck. It is supposed to help with the shaking of his hands etc.... I will ask him how his dad is, but I think it is working too!

I just have to tell you that every time I see your signature and picture of Sky it really helps me put things in perspective. Ya know, the s#!t that I may be dealing with at any given moment is really not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.
Enjoy your girls! |
