I can promise you that our forefathers had no inkling of what a problem this would be or they would have written it in the Constitution. Back in the beginning, you served your country and then you went back to being a private citizen. These guys get elected and then spend the majority of their time figuring out how to get reelected. I'm with you on that big. when the country was founded it was time taken out of the Reps. hide not like now where it's the main function.
