I got this e-mail and thought I'd pass it on. Be alert, if you go to the post office for just a few stamps, and you don't ask for the forever stamps, they have been instructed(threatened) to push the new stamps that supposedly honor a Muslim holiday. The stamps are blue background with gold swirls and the words "Greeting" and "EID"
If you have any patriotism for your country, tell the clerk what they can do with those stamps and asked for replacements.
My wife, Donna, went and just took what they gave her. Came home and saw these weird stamps, called the PO and asked what they were. They feigned surprise and didn't act like they knew what they were either. She insisted they find out and tell her. The clerk came back on the line and confirmed that they were the Muslim stamps. She took them back and asked for a replacement. Got some Bob Hope stamps and now we are both happier.

Yes, I checked it with Snopes before I posted it. I know where you are coming from on the freedom of religion thing, I just don't care to celebrate with people who would be delighted if we were destroyed.

now now boys, it is not all muslims that want or need to hurt us, it is only a select group. muslims, on the whole are peace loving just like christians and just like christians there is a select group of them that are out to hurt anyone that do not think like they do. so dont persecute all muslim just because of a few. this is the u.s. of a and we have always welcomed the different religions and the right to believe in who or what we want.
Believe me when i say that i have studied these people for 7 years now, and basically they are just like us, i know and like some muslims and work with them too. they, right along side of me, work to protect the citizens of the united states. so let them have the stamp, we don't complain when there is a cross on a stamp, or when xmas is all over the place.
believe it or not, but there are more muslims in this world then there are christian and more are joining every day. there are more muslims in the u.s.a than you would ever believe. and soon they will outnumber the christians here.

Back in the 80's I had the "pleasure" of visiting Saudia Arabia (Riyadh) via the U.S. Air Force numerous times. I have to respectfully disagree, these people are very smart and many of the people are educated at some of our finest universities and colleges and truly go by the old adege "Know Your Enemy". The ones I talked to are well versed in our culture, history, and language; make no bones about the fact that they are in fact our enemy. I, by no means didn't talk to thousands of people; just enough to form my own opinion. Just my thought on the matter if they aren't how in the heck did they get the financing to become such a major distraction to the rest of the world without help from some very rich/elite folks, and those type of people are generally in the government? These people are a threat to the American dream and way of life. The one that is in the White House needs to be tried for Treason because he is after all the Commander-in-Chief!
