Default American IronHorse

Here is a piece I copied from the internet. Not sure if it's true byt rumors have been flying for a while about them going down.

Tree Dallas investors seeking $120,000 are trying to push American IronHorse into Bankruptcy. The Chapter 11 filing could force American IronHorse Motorcycle to reorganize or liquidize its assets to pay its debtors. The company ceased production in early February, fired most of its employees and Chairman Dwayne Moyers said at the time that American IronHorse planned to sell its assets to new investors before continuing with operations. Founded in 1985, the company has undergone several management changes since its founder Bill Rucker was removed by investors in 2003.

I am sorry to hear about this - but am not surprised. Bill Rucker was the vision behind the company - unfortunately when you cross your board of directors - you are fair game. Some of the stuff they have been putting out - didn't seem to me as being very good quality.
I think we will see more of this - this year - the manufacturers that were targeting a very specific customer..... well let's see who is next....

I hear from friends in the industry that Bill Rucker is trying to buy the company back.

I also hear Rucker's a total a-hole by a lot of people who have dealt with him over the years.

I have to wonder why anyone would want to buy a company like American Iron Horse when the market is so very soft like it is now.

From what I have read, everything Rucker has been involved in looks good but ultimately fails. That says something in my book.

Don't know the guy but he seems long of the sizzle and short on the steak.
