Indian Motorcycle prepares for Fall launch of its classically inspired, reengineered V-Twin Cruiser
Kings Mountain, NC— Indian Motorcycle, America’s First Motorcycle is revving up for its much anticipated release of the classically inspired Chief model featuring the dramatic curves of the fenders that have become a motorcycling icon.
“For model year 2009, this Indian revival has been extremely well thought out and engineered to improve overall rider features and comfort and of course improved styling echoing what the First American Motorcycle delivered in 1901. Not to mention the tireless efforts put forth by the engineering team and our suppliers to present a significantly improved product including the PowerPlus™ 105cc engine” explained Nick Glaja, Indian Motorcycle Vice President, Engineering. “We have successfully redefined a classic by blending modern technology and implementing stringent quality requirements all to deliver a better performing, more reliable Indian Motorcycle” finished Glaja.
Indian Motorcycle located in Kings Mountain, North Carolina is on target to deliver model year 2009 units to its dealer base Fall 2008 with a consumer unveiling and launch at the motorcycle Mecca; Sturgis, South Dakota during Bike Week.
