Indian Motorcycle Carves Its Niche for Fall Launch in Heavyweight Cruiser Motorcycle Market
Indian Motorcycle prepares for Fall launch of its classically inspired, reengineered V-Twin Cruiser

Kings Mountain, NC— Indian Motorcycle, America’s First Motorcycle is revving up for its much anticipated release of the classically inspired Chief model featuring the dramatic curves of the fenders that have become a motorcycling icon.

“For model year 2009, this Indian revival has been extremely well thought out and engineered to improve overall rider features and comfort and of course improved styling echoing what the First American Motorcycle delivered in 1901. Not to mention the tireless efforts put forth by the engineering team and our suppliers to present a significantly improved product including the PowerPlus™ 105cc engine” explained Nick Glaja, Indian Motorcycle Vice President, Engineering. “We have successfully redefined a classic by blending modern technology and implementing stringent quality requirements all to deliver a better performing, more reliable Indian Motorcycle” finished Glaja.

Indian Motorcycle located in Kings Mountain, North Carolina is on target to deliver model year 2009 units to its dealer base Fall 2008 with a consumer unveiling and launch at the motorcycle Mecca; Sturgis, South Dakota during Bike Week.

Indian is intent on slowly and methodically carving out its niche in the heavyweight cruiser motorcycle market. Having a considerable consumer base for a premium line of motorcycles under the Indian Motorcycle brand, the company will focus on supplying genuine, American made motorcycles which are beautifully designed, made of the highest quality materials, reliable and supported by a qualified dealer network.

Indian Motorcycle Company will make further launch announcements including scheduled event attendance, the release of their event and demo vehicles and Indian branded dealership openings.
