Default New Indian Chief

Don't buy Indian stock quite yet because I don't believe they'll be around very long, again. Check out these prices: Chief Standard $30,999, Chief Deluxe $31,999, Chief Roadmaster $33,999 and the Chief Vintage $35,499. It seems they're a bit obsessed with exclusivity. I don't know about the rest of you but for that kind of $ I'd do a scratch built before I would spend that kind of $ on a production bike. Opinions?

If I was going to spend that kind of money on an Indian I'd get a real one that was made in Springfield in the 1940s or '50s. Didn't care for the Gilroy Indians, and these look pretty much the same.

Why bother? They can't sell that many t-shirts to stay in business can they?

That's a lot of cash

My friend dropped $45k for her Screaming Eagle but that's a Limited Edition, Handmade, one of a kind motorcycle. Also, Harley has a wide price range to choose from. Are all the Indians over $30k? If they are I think you might be right and they'll end up extinct again, especially in this crappy economy.

I know one of the colors is red! Not being one of the inner circle the only ones I know of as of now is the Chief. There may be other offerings down the road.
