The year before their TV program began a friend of mine and his wife ran into Sr and JR on Beach St. in Daytona during bike week. They had 5 or 6 choppers for sale. You could take your pick for $13,000, the next year you couldn't touch one for $30,000. Don't you just love the American way? I for one couldn't or wouldn't own one of their bikes, but more power to them for what they have accomplished. If it's been on TV and promoted there will be someone out their that will just have to have it.
Dont like the bikes they build for all the big money corporations.
The italian guy that works for them built a bike, believe it was featured in AIM.
It was , for lack of another word , a gas. thats the model the tutles should build, he used an indian engine, it was really something else.
