Default Schwinn back in the motorbike business

My son, a college student expressed interest in a motor scooter to greatly reduce his fuel costs.
During our research into what was available we found that Schwinn makes a scooter. As many may know, Ignatz Schwinn, the company founder, was part of Excelsior- Henderson in 1907. He later opted to concentrate on pedalbikes, but it's good to see that it's come full circle back to basic motorized transportation in a time when we need it most.

This is my Granddaughter Sky, age 7. Can't walk, talk, or feed herself but look at that smile. Anyone care to complain about their lot in life? Not me!

Default Schwinn

I had a schwinn many years ago with a Whizzer motor on it. Not so any more. Schwinn's now i think are made in china and are part of the 2 billion dollars a day we add to our trade deficit.

Just another copy of the original... As you might tell - I like original stuff. Every Corvette I have ever bought I kept original - parts - paint etc. I keep my Harley's Original - thinking it keeps their value......somethings do - some things don't. I hate it when people get all excited about a new something that is an old idea recycled - buy the old stuff - spend the time to restore it and end up with a piece of history instead of China crap.
