OCC Custom On AIM Cover
Other Motorcycle ManufacturersDiscuss OCC Custom On AIM Cover in the Motorcycles forums; I am curious what others think aboutt he yellow and black OCC custom bike on the cover of the new issue of American Iron Magazine this month.
It is a ...
It looks pretty rideable, which is a change from most of what I see of OCC bikes. There's a reason you don't see choppers running slalom courses. It looks pretty progressive for them (and other bikes in general), too, which is nice, without losing sight of that fact it's a bike. Old School gets, well, old sometimes; and some get too progressive and look like flying doorstops. I think that bike's a great balance, and the X-Wedge looks great.
I wish those bikes could be run through a road test to find out how they really run and handle. That OCC bike is probably the best looking one they've built in a while.
I like a bike with a couple of stone chips in the paint, a slight touch of rust and maybe a ding thrown in for good measure!
It seems the only thing these guys have going for them is these cartoon bikes. I still have never seen one anywhere( being ridden). Naw, I'm over them but I am looking forward to the Jesse James bike in the next issue of the best motorcycle magazine around, that being AIM of course!!

How do you know a Jesse bike is in the next issue? Did you already get your issue? I didn't get my sub yet.

I'm afraid that I agree with the description of cartoon bikes and door stops.
The only reason OCC became famous was because father and son berated each other. Total disrespect in my opinion. I would never speak to my sons that way and I don't believe they would talk down at me.
They are a cartoon family building cartoon bikes, laughing all the way to the bank.
Screw those clowns!

Thumbs down!
To each his(or her) own; but I don't like high dollar bikes that most likely will not hold up well if actually ridden on a regular basis.
I'd rather see more readers rides and extended articles to go with them.
Guys, on the last page of every issue it previews what is coming in the next issue. It shows that the December issue will be featuring Jesse James' Kiehl Bike. Sharp looking ride! I really liked that bike he built a couple of years ago with the copper tank and fenders and road down into Mexico with White Trash, er excuse me, Kid Rock.
