Hey Crims.......Have that Ol Lady of yours get a second job so you can get them pipes you so long for. I am sure you can convince her you deserve it.

The Spaceship........Good one. Does look like it could hover don't it. I think the design guy on that came from Haight-Ashbury after a "meeting of the Minds" with Timothy Leary. Far out!

Even if I could convince her to get a second job, pretty sure she'd spend the cash on something else. Perhaps the boobs she thinks she wants, but not the Vic.

Taken this thread way too far off topic though.......

Triumph, Norton, BMW. Maybe Indian if they can ever get their head out of their collective rear end and become a stable company again.

if i were buying other than harley . it would be a triumph. the new 500 scrambler looks really old school as well as the bonneville. i have never owned a victory. but have heard good things about them. i owned a 03 bigdog that turned out to be a realdog. and a 05 american ironhorse legend that was a good bike. but the company went bankrupt so i went back to harley. i think they will survive they always have

Other than Harley and my BMC I would look at Big Dog. I like thier FAT tire and a right hand drive so the bike is better balanced. Mine has the off-set primary to get the belt over far enuff to get past the 240 tire. that makes for a very heavy ride on the left side of the bike.
