Default Who else would you buy from?

So we've seen quite a few American motorcycle manufacturers quietly retreat to the sidelines of the industry again. Who else out there besides H-D would you consider buying from for a brand new bike? Victory? Big Dog? OC$? Someone small and under the radar? Let me hear what you think.

Depending on what type of riding you want to do your choices can be very limited as Victory is the only other full line American manufacturer. If you want a custom of some sort then your choices are much greater.

Do they still make Triumphs?
If not, I guess a Victory would do.
If not, a Honda woiuld substitute.
More than likely, though, a used HD would be first choice.

I wouldn't mind having a Victory. 2 of the group I ride with have Honda VTX's, one a 1300 and one a 1800, both are nice bikes. Then again, one of those Jesse Rooke speedsters would be real nice

I'd be asking myself who is going to be around five years from now. At this point, with the bad economy and all, HD and the Japanese look like the best bets to survive. Victory is making some nice bikes for sure but I don't know how they will do in today's conditions.

Victory or BMC custom. The way the economy is I think you will see alot of nice bikes for sale, including HD.

As I look out my window it's snowing AGAIN! At these times I think serious about a URAL with the live drive wheel on the sidecar.

That what I'm talkin' about!

I have to agree with rcd. Ural for my winter riding. Plus I can bring both my boys with me. I been thinking about getting one for a few years now. Once I do 94 will be happy.
