Hey everyone!

I wanted to post an open invitation to all interested bikers:

The Iron Indian Riders Association will be sponsoring
the 6th Annual Indian Rally at Indian Point in Branson, Missouri, May 10th through May 17th.

The headquarters for the rally will be Hunter's Friend Resort, which is just south of Silver Dollar City, on Indian Point, Table Rock Lake. Throughout the week, there will be a variety of events, cookouts, group rides and so forth.

The week will climax on Saturday the 16th with the Indian Bike Show sponsored by Indian Motorcycle.
Indian Motorcycle will be present, displaying all models of the 2009 Chief, as well as having booths with apparel and accessories for sale. There will be at least three Indian dealerships represented also, so if you want to buy a bike, inquire about trade-ins or what have you, you will be able to.

As far as the bike show, it will be open to Indians of any year, from 1901 through 2009.

The following trophies will be awarded:

Best Antique Era (1901-1939)

Best Classic Era (1940-1960)

Best Modern Era (New models. 1999-2009)

Best Custom (Any year, heavily modified or 'special construction' using Indian components)

Best Scout (any year)

Best Chief or Four(any year)

Best "Other" Indian (Any year. This would encompass everything from Gilroy 'Spirits' to stuff like, say, a beautifully restored 1980 Indian moped that one guy brings to the rally every year, LOL!)

And then, of course,

Best in Show (As voted by Judges)

and

People's Choice (as voted by the public)

We'd like to encourage anyone with an interest in, or curiosity about, Indians to come on out and check it out. The rally is always fun, the bikes are always gorgeous, and Branson is a fun place with lots to do, and some good riding in the area.
