Well if you do decide to go something like BDM. You're freakin brain dead if you dont buy used right now. Many of these bikes have **** for miles and are going for 40% of their original value.

Thats one of the reasons I`am looking some are selling for half what the owners paid for them

Lucky you! I paid full boar for my BMC. But unlike some of the '"Fad" bikers... I intend on keeping my bike for many years. and Ride it quite often, even still, Now I got 3 big twin bikes... I kant ride them all every day...but I can try.

Good luck with your search, if you can turn a wrench, AND you are getting the bike half price, then there is nothing to worry about (with no warrentee). Find the one you like, buy it and ride it...

Edit: I know I didnt get either of those brands of bikes you are interested in... but I did get a 'factory custom' which is kinda the catagory these bikes fall into.
