Default Old Peugeot - worth it?

This old Peugeot was my grandfathers. he used to deliver bread from his bakery with in during WWII. I got it running back in the 80's once by cleaning out the tank, carb & plug.

Thought i'd share some pictures & ask for a little advise.

The bike/trike is in Central France. Just wondering if its worth the trouble/expense to ship it home to Texas. And if it is. where do i start?

That is a neat looking rig. One thing about it, you would most likely have the only one in Texas and probably the whole country.

I guess the first place to start is to see what shipping would cost to get it here.
Get some estimates from shipping companies on crating and shipping. My guess is it will be very expensive, since over seas shipping has all kinds of Homeland issues these days. But still worth asking, thats free!

Can't say for you, but if it was my grandfathers old motorcycle I'd sure want to bring it home and get it up and running and on the road.

The more I think about it, you could insulate the box and put a "keg"orater in it and have a blast with it! I agree with Buzz, keep it in the family. You don't see one of those every day

That thing has some great possibilities, tejasandre, and with it being your grandfather's that makes it priceless. I hope you can find a fairly reasonable way to get it home.

I've talked to a couple of folks locally. They thought the least expensive way would be by sea. If the pirates don't get it the sea air will. I've been debating this with myself for years, and it's time to put up or shut up. A cousin wants it & grandmas ready to hand it over. I'd love to have it in my garage, but if the trip is going to destroy it...

If anyone knows any international shipping companies I'd appreciate the lead.
