New to the Chicago suburbs. Just moved here, near Joliet, end of January. I have nicknamed the area "Land of Potholes" instead of "Land of Lincoln". While out and about, searching for a good area to ride I came upon a pothole I could have lost my shovelhead in. DAMN! All the tolls around here you think they could fix the roads. Alright, enough on that rant.
Rode to Starved Rock with my neighbors. I have got the coolest neighbors by the way!!! They ride for the Patriot Guard from time to time and got me going on the that. Mainly we just cruise around the neighborhood. I take little adventures to get to know the area.
Looking for other people to ride with, get to know some biker bars as I am not the "sports bar" kind of person. Others who like to ride, grill out, knock back a few brews, play some pool, horseshoes, darts, and whatever else. Come join the riff raff and introduce yourself!!!

BD77: Haul a wagon behind filled with crushed gravel. Fill the holes as you go. Get it done faster then the city or state can. I am sure they have all their money tied up in new Legislation.
Jim and Sandy brought this to my attention. Saturday, June 07, Kendall County Fairgrounds. RT 71 & East Highpoint Rd. Yorkville, IL. 1 miles west of RT 47. Big Daddy you can always drop me a line for rides. Usually we ride every sunday and I'm hooked to a few riding groups. The Straved Rock area has some of the nicest roads in Illinois and some pretty cool watering holes. I try and post more regular.
Boy, 6 Harley riders in Illinois on the roster, in the last 1 1/2 years. Who would've thought? Well, here's a dirty rotton Evo Sporty rider from Downers Grove checking in, so make it 7. Sorry, but I don't drink when cruising, but I'll wave "Hi" to you on the road. If you get a campsite registration at Starved Rock, let me know, and I'll show up. In the spring. Not just now.
