Default Lake Wylie, South Carolina

Hey all,

Anyone on the board from Lake Wylie area? Looks like we're gonna have to move after all. Was looking at TN. but the weather isnt warm enough it seems. My dad used to have a place on the lake and Im thinking I would really enjoy being there again. Ive heard alot of building going in that area. Anyone from around there? Botz

Good morning Botz. I remember a few months ago that you mentioned that your daughter's health might require a move.
I have relatives living near Columbia S C (Eastover). I have spent some time around there and vacationed a few times at Sunset Beach N C. I like that part of the country, and WOW....you will definitely lengthen your riding season!
I hope everything works out well for you. Ride safe and GOD bless. Sincerely: Shovelmike.

This is my Granddaughter Sky, age 7. Can't walk, talk, or feed herself but look at that smile. Anyone care to complain about their lot in life? Not me!

Shovelmike,

Yes you have a good memory. My daughters allergy to the cold has come back again and the doc says odds are good she will have it forever now. She had a 50/50 chance of it not coming back but it did. This was the kick in the pants I needed to make the move. As you said my riding season will increase and my daughters health will improve.....what more of a reason do I need? Turns out my buddy from way back when who lives on the lake is a hotshot house builder down there. He has already offered to build me a home with a 4car garage of course. I hope this works out and we can make the move. kinda looking forward to it. NY is great but its a ratrace and taxes just keep going up. Botz
