Welcome to the jungle Stophy. Enjoy your stay. Was in France in 87. Spent a day showing some of those French Foreign Legion gents how to "Fast Rope" out of a helicopter. One big rope and you slide on down. Problem is some were to proud to wear leather gloves. Well you get the picture.......A few hundred feet in the air, bare hands sliding down rope. Glad we had a Corpman that had lots of supplies for rope burns. A few even let go and took a nasty fall.
Country Folks were very nice. However the city folks were a tad bit snooty. Still had a good time. I met this one gal who was nice enough to show me around. Worked well since I dont speak the lingo. Now you got me looking through some old photo's.
