Tomorrow is Friday 13th so I'm off to Port Dover. It's supposed to be sunny, but cold (+2C), so I'll need to bundle up. The attached picture is from last June friday 13th.

Buzz, Port Dover, ON is the largest fresh water fishing port in the world. It's located on Lake Erie about 1 hour south of Toronto, or if you like about 1 hour west of Niagara Falls NY, or 4 hours east of Detroit.

Every Friday 13th since Nov 1981, bikers have converged on Port Dover. Yes, EVERY Friday 13th.
Obviously the summer events are much better attended with last June's event hosting 30,000 bikes for the day and 150,000 people. This year there are 3. Feb, Mar, and November. I've been going, on and off since the early 90's. They have a website pd13.com

Last Friday was the 48th consecutive event. Next year there is only 1. August 13th (2010). It promises to be a biggy as it is the 50th event and is a summertime date. Need a roving reporter for coverage?
