Default Iowa riders

I guess I never really introduced myself proper so I thought I would kill two birds with one post. lol

I'm from Iowa. Des Mones to be exact. I own two Harleys. A 1996 Sportster Hugger 883 and a 2008 Softail Cross Bones. Hence the name CrossBonesRick.

I like to ride when ever I get the chance. I'm not much for long distance travel but that seems to be changing. I'm starting to spread out my comfort zone a bit and getting the itch to travel now that I've got a bike more travel friendly.

Anyone else here from Iowa?

Glad to be among friends.

Get to know me better and I'm sure you will kick me out of the party. I can be an opinionated jerk (read that as A$$hole).

I'm very honest with who I am and I know what others might think of me as well. I'm OK with that. lol

Thanks for the reply.

Gas, I only give them hell when they ride with their noses in the air. That's just not a safe way to ride man. :P

Ken, I know who you speak of, but you forgot Captain Kirk and John Wayne, Wyatt Earp, Chloris Leachman, Elijah Wood (frodo from Lord of the Rings), Ghopher from Love boat. Yeah, I know, I'm scraping the barrel on most of these, but we gotta be known for more than pigs, corn, and the best beef you can buy.

Rick,

I'm from over here in Atkins (about 10 mi west of Cedar Rapids). I ride a 96 1200 Sport & am in process of restoring a 67 Triumph Tiger.

Gas, I find it hard to see the road when my nose is too high in the air. And I get all kinds of bugs in it that way too. lol

Cat. Cool. I have relatives out your way. If you see a old guy on a black Cross Bones heading down the highway wave, it might be me.
