Thumbs down Poor Service From Thunderheaders

I recently purchased a set of Thunderheaders from a Harley dealer. The purpose of buying them from a dealer was twofold. First, they would install them for me. Secondly, they could download a map from Thunderheader's website and load it onto my SERT and I would be good to go, with no dyno time. Well, the dealer installed the pipes, which were 2 into 1's with a falsee. But, when they tried to download the map that Thunderheaders have listed on their website, that's when the trouble began. I am located 110 miles away from my Harley dealer. I rode up on a Thursday to have the pipes installed and back again on Friday for the map install. (I would have had it done Thursday also, but forgot the damn SERT!) After arriving at the dealership, I was informed that they had downloaded the map but couldn't find it on their computer. When they tried to access the data on the map it opened the dyno software with no data from the map. After calling Thunderheader for assistance several times, a representative from Thunderheaders finally stated, "I can't help you," and hung up. As i stood there looking at the dealership parts manager, he had a terrified look on his face, looked at me and said, "I can't believe he just hung up on me!!"

Bottom line is, if I'd known they treated their dealers like this, I NEVER would have purchased them. Although I do like the sound and performance so far, I don't like giving my hard earned dollar to someone with such poor customer service. It just makes me wonder if I have a problem with these pipes, how are they going to treat ME!!
