Default Comments on H-D Auto Primary Chain Tensioner

I'd like to read any and all comments on this automatic primary chain tensioner. What did it do to shift sound, etc.? Is it an improvement and something you recommend? Thanks.

I installed one on a 1999 Road King and it could not adjust it to fit. My "guess" is because I run a 3.37:1 primary ratio. It was too tight for my installation. I had to sell it on Ebay.

I have the tensioner and have had no problems. One less thing to adjust.

i have had one in my lowrider for about 2yrs now, about 16000 miles ago,no problems.replaced the mainshaft seal a week ago ,had to take all the inner primary stuff out, looked really good,to me it's just one more thing that i don't have to mess with.
