3. Brakes
Give the hand and foot brakes a couple pumps to make sure they have good pressure, and visually inspect the master cylinders, lines, connections, and calipers for any sign of leakage. If you’re able to lift one wheel at a time, give it a spin and then hit the brake to make sure they work. Not a huge deal if you have a flat driveway and can stop and roll the bike back in, but if you’re on even the slightest incline, you and your bike may be stuck or rolling somewhere you shouldn’t.
