Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation Releases New Monkey Sport Bar for All Harley Models

Bagger Nation's Monkey Sport Bar

Bagger Nation Combines Classic Style of OEM Monkey Bar with Signature Bent Uprights for Low Slung Look with Loads of Attitude and Comfort

Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation, the custom shop known for providing the Harley-Davidson aftermarket with trend-setting designs of the highest quality, is proud to unveil the new Monkey Sport Bar for 1986–2017 H-D touring models.

“When it comes to all of our parts and accessories, we blur the line between function and aesthetics until there is no line,” says Paul Yaffe, “and our new Monkey Sport Bar is no exception—yes, it looks sharp, but it has all the comfort and utility our OEM Monkey Bars are famous for.”

Designed by a rider, not just for looks but for facility, the new Monkey Sport Bar has you covered with: (1) Width: Yaffe Monkey bars are narrower because they utilize a more labor-intensive process when assembling grip post areas—swedging is cheaper but adds 2” to each side of the bar; (2) Natural Grip Angle: Yaffe Monkey bars don’t force hands or wrists into uncomfortable positions; they are engineered to provide natural, relaxed grip angles—non-riders wouldn’t think of this; (3) Adjustability: Yaffe Monkey bars allow maximum rotation for hand control positioning—you can put ’em where you want ’em; (4) Pull Back: with their exclusive arched pull-back design, Yaffe Monkey Sport Bars provide 9” of pull back if you want it (while still ensuring optimum back comfort); because of patent protection, no other company can curve uprights forward when viewed in profile; only Bagger Nation can provide that look for you.

The new Bagger Nation Monkey Sport Bar is a direct bolt-on replacement part with NO modifications needed. Bagger Nation also offers a complete line of cables, bushings, Super Clamps, wiring and complete install instructions. Available in gloss black powder coat or brilliant chrome plating, you won’t find a better (or better-looking!) low-slung bar for Road Glides and Road Kings.

Paul Yaffe Celebrates 25 Years of Customs at Arizona Bike Week

Yaffe Through the Years Exhibit at Arizona Bike Week

A retrospective exhibit celebrating legendary custom motorcycle builder Paul Yaffe’s storied career will be on display at the Legends Pavilion for the duration of Arizona Bike Week 2017. Yaffe Through the Years, presented by Chuck Franklin Law, will showcase some of the most spectacular bikes and parts that Paul has created during 25 years in the bike building and custom parts business.

“It all started with a love of motorcycles and a curiosity and desire to see what could be made of them,” says Paul. “I never would have guessed, when I first started experimenting in the mid eighties, that it would lead to where we are today.”

An amazing collection of some of Paul’s most memorable custom creations will be on display. Close to twenty motorcycles will provide a visual representation of the evolution of Paul’s career, from choppers to baggers to pro-streets, including both Discovery bikes (Phantom and Suzy-Q), Prodigy and Whitey (the bike he gave his bride her first ride on).

“We did a similar event as part of my birthday celebration late last year,” says Paul. “But we’ve expanded the concept, added about twice as many bikes, more photos, artwork and memorabilia. Plus, it will be really special to hold the event here in Phoenix, where I opened my first shop so many years ago.”

That first shop was American Legend Motorcycle Co., which opened in 1991. Since then, Paul has enjoyed one of the most illustrious and influential careers in motorcycle designing and building. Today, Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation, together with Paul Yaffe Originals, is recognized as one of—if not the—preeminent custom bike building outfits.

Rally goers attending Arizona Bike Week are encouraged to swing by the Pavilion and see firsthand and up close the beauty and power of Paul Yaffe’s metal masterpieces. Yaffe Through the Years is sponsored by Chuck Franklin Law, Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation, Morongo Casino Resort and Spa and Arizona Bike Week.

Arizona B4B Chapter Plans Charity Ride & Bike Giveaway in Battle vs Breast Cancer

Arizona Charity Enlists Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation and Lane Splitters to Build Custom Motorcycle

Celebrating its 9th year of fighting breast cancer, the Arizona-based charity Bikers For Boobies AZ will hold its 9th Annual Poker Run in October 2017.

“It is hard to believe we’ve been doing this for nine years,” said Jack Estes Vice President of Bikers for Boobies AZ. “It feels really good to raise awareness and fight breast cancer. We’re hoping to break our fundraising record this year, and we’ve got something special cooking for the bike giveaway, which ought to help.”

The grand prize awarded at this year’s charity ride will be a custom designed Road King built by some of the most renowned custom motorcycle builders in the country. Legendary bike builder and trendsetter Paul Yaffe, of Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation and Paul Yaffe Originals, is teaming up with Miguel Samaniego of Lane Splitters. The two Arizona shops will collaborate on the design, and utilize various performance components while Paul oversees every aspect of the build. Steel Vision Garage is handling all the paint, coatings and concept drawing. Vance and Hines has offered to step up the engine to give it the performance it deserves.

Lane Splitters' Miguel Samanie and Bagger Nation's Paul Yaffe

Lane Splitters’ Miguel Samaniego and Bagger Nation’s Paul Yaffe are teaming up to build a custom motorcycle for the Arizona B4B fundraising raffle.

“We are excited to help out with this build. We wanted to take some of the concepts we have been seeing applied to Dyna’s and FXR’s and see what we could do with a Road King. We see this as an opportunity to help a local charity that we believe in, work with other great shops like Lane Splitters and strip down a Road King and give it a sport treatment,” said Paul Yaffe of Bagger Nation.

Bikers for Boobies AZ will sell raffle tickets throughout the year to raise much-needed funds for cancer awareness and research, and one lucky winner will ride off on one incredible motorcycle conceived of by two visionary builders. Additional prizes will be awarded at the raffle. This will be Bikers for Boobies AZ 5th Anniversary of a bike raffle and now they have partnered with Paul Yaffe and other great builders.

The first Bikers For Boobies poker run saw 120 bikes participate. In 2015, there were 2,500 riders, and the charity raised over $65,000. Bikers for Boobies AZ has also assisted 60 women with mammograms and supplied over $25,000 in grants for medical and survival needs. Bikers For Boobies is looking to top both numbers in 2017. It’s for a good cause, and the ride’s a lot of fun, so B4B encourages as many people as possible to participate, donate and be a part of the solution to breast cancer.

Official 2017 Daytona Bike Week Build: Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation

Official Daytona Bike Build 2017 Paul Yaffe Super Stretch Saddlebags and Chupa Rear Fender

The rear of the 2010 Harley Ultra in the midst of its transformation sees the addition of Bagger Nation Super Stretch Saddlebags and a Chupa Rear Fender.

If you haven’t heard by now, American Iron is once again getting the pleasure of putting together the puzzle that will be the 2017 Official Daytona Bike Week Motorcycle. This bike is being raffled off as a fund raiser conducted by the Daytona Beach Community Foundation “with proceeds going back into the management and betterment of each bike week event.”

The 2010 Harley Ultra that is serving as the 2017 Official Bike Week Motorcycle has been undergoing an incredible transformation thanks to the hard-working crew at Street Stuff Cycle. Last week, the family-owned shop out of Norwich, CT., even got some love on local TV station News 8 WTNH featuring the Ultra they’ve been working on for us. (Check out the Connecticut motorcycle shop building custom bike for Daytona video here). Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving bunch.

The project is a true group effort. The list of sponsors who have stepped up to make it happen is long. So far we’ve talked about the contributions of both Arlen Ness Enterprises and Cobra USA. Next on our list is Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation.

Street Stuff Cycle’s Eric Crayson installs a 23″ Wide Classic Stretched Fender from Bagger Nation on the 2017 Official Daytona Bike Week Motorcycle.

Bagger Nation has been at the forefront of customizing big bikes for a long-time running. In fact, Paul Yaffe is celebrating 25 years of building custom bikes this weekend with a big birthday bash at Morongo Casino Resort in Cabazon, CA. At the gathering Yaffe will have 15 of his most memorable creations on display including both of the bikes he did for Discovery Channel’s “Biker Build-Off” Phantom and Suzy-Q, the Copper Chopper, Prodigy, and the Sailor Jerry Chopper that’s going to be given away at the party.

“It all started with a love of motorcycles and a curiosity and desire to see what could be made of them,” said Yaffe in a press release promoting his 25th celebration. “I never would have guessed, when I first started experimenting in the mid-eighties, that it would lead to where we are today.”

Bagger Nation Stretched Smooth Swooth Side Covers

The rear end conversion of the 2017 Official Daytona Bike Week Motorcycle includes a set of Bagger Nation Stretched Smooth Swoop Side Covers.

For the 2017 Official Bike Week build, the stock Ultra front fender was swapped out for a 23” Wide Classic Stretched Fender from Bagger Nation. The rear looks dramatically different now. We mean that in a good way. It’s been totally revamped with a set of Yaffe’s Super Stretch Saddlebags, a Chupa Rear Fender, Stretched Smooth Swoop Side Covers and a Chop Chop Ultra Slim Tour Pack. The Chop Chop Ultra Slim Tour Pack is much slimmer and sportier than Harley’s Tour Pak, a big reason we’ve been seeing them at just about every bike show as they’ve been riding a wave of popularity. Seeing how Yaffe’s Slim Tour Pack switched up the lines of the Ultra, it only made sense to swap out the stock tank for one of Bagger Nation’s stretched steel Razorback Gas Tanks, too. Rounding out the sweet package is a Sorrento Seat made specifically to complement the stretched Razorback tank.

This year’s Official Daytona Bike Week Motorcycle is really taking shape. Somebody’s going to be stoked to win this bike. It could be you. Grab you a ticket before they’re all gone at OfficialBikeWeek.com.

Designed for those who demand ultra-premium products with an unapologetic edge, the Cult Forty-Five exhaust combines Paul Yaffe’s radical design aesthetic with the 35-year track record of Vance and Hines performance.

“These pipes fly in the face of established exhaust norms,” says Paul Yaffe. “They deliver, and they do it with style.”

Providing unmatched craftsmanship with proven performance, the Cult Forty-Five Performance pipes work with all late-model Harley-Davidson touring bikes. Each system consists of 4-inch mufflers with 4.5-inch stepped out tips and a 2.5-inch louvered core with removable fiberglass wrap. Cult Forty-Five Performance Pipes come in chrome or black and you can choose from 4 radical tip designs to compliment your personal aesthetic vision. Of course, the pipes are made right here in the U.S.A.

Next, for those wanting to take it to the next level, Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation offers their radical Cult Forty-Five collector design, featuring full coverage 2.5-inch header heat shields, a unique vented w mesh inserts 4.5” main body shield and the huge billet 4.5-inch end cap that’s available in 4 different styles in either black or chrome to compliment your personal aesthetic vision. This thing screams a ferocious exhaust roar and fits with stock or extended bags and Bagger Nation swoop or stock side covers. It’s nothing short of explosive! Exclusive to Yaffe’s new pipe are features like an adjustable elbow position (slightly raised or two-up) and our “dial-able” end caps as well as a 9 piece “tone-able” baffle system.

From Paul Yaffe, the man who originated billet stylized exhaust tips, Cult Forty-Five Exhaust applications look and perform like nothing you’ve ever seen, proving once again that Bagger Nation remains ahead of the curve, in the front of the pack.

Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation Unveils New OEM Fender Line for Baggers

Bagger Nation releases OEM line of fenders.

Three New Versions of a Classic Fender Style that Covers All Stock Front-Wheel Applications from 1986 – 2017

Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation, the custom shop known for providing the Harley-Davidson aftermarket with trend-setting designs of the highest quality, has released a new line of solid steel OEM sized fenders. These new versions of the classic Yaffe styled fenders come in all-new dimensions that perfectly fit all touring stock front wheels and tires.

“These fenders fit all 16-, 17-, 18- and 19-inch wheels perfectly,” says Paul Yaffe. “In other words, they cover all stock front wheel applications.” We accomplish this with our exclusive double radius tooling paired with our proprietary fender width. These create a glove like fit on all 4 sizes of wheels!

All-new tooling allows each fender to be “deep-drawn” from one indestructible piece of 14-gauge steel and then precision laser cut for perfect symmetry. These stamped fenders are perfectly straight–no need for any body work or modifications–you simply check them for a perfect fit, then scuff and paint them. All mounting holes are pre-drilled at the factory, making them a true bolt-on accessory–no spinning, no welding, no seams or grooves that need working.

The new OEM Fender Line comes in three styles: the Thicky, DEI and Talon. Each fender is handcrafted in the U.S.A., again utilizing the PYBN exclusive double radius and unique width that ensures these fenders fit your front wheel and tire like a second skin. All fenders are E-Coated for corrosion protection, and every one of them comes with a free set of polished spacers (or you can upgrade to black or chrome). Yet another easy and inexpensive way to sharpen up your Bagger from the best Bagger shop on earth: Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation.

Wing-It Fairing Flares: Here’s a completely unique new product that takes a styling cue from many of Paul’s radical Road Glide creations from past years. Solid Steel Front Fenders: The new DEI Fender, originally designed for late racing legend Dale Earnhardt; the aggressive and radically styled Talon Fender; and the classic west-coast-styled Solid Steel Thicky Fender enable you to lead with style. All-new tooling for steel front fenders allows them to be “deep-drawn” from one indestructible piece of 14-gauge steel.
