11th Annual Indian Larry Greasemonkey Block Party in Brooklyn (Gallery)

The 11th Annual Indian Larry Greasemonkey Block Party took place this past weekend in Brooklyn, and as usual, it was a block-rockin’ affair! Thousands  strolled Union Avenue,  listening to bands and checking out booths and wares from Led Sled, Metzeler, Biltwell, and more, while inside the Indian Larry Motorcycles warehouse a roast pig and kegs of Sam Adams Octoberfest beer were doled out. The party lasted all day and coincided with the 6th Annual Brooklyn Invitational Custom Bike Show, which was taking place over on North 14th St at the Root Studios and featured works by renowned builders such as Paul Cox, Roland Sands, and Keino. The East Coast-heavy lineup of builders made it clear that while the West gets the lion’s share of media attention,  the East Coast scene is producing some of the finest quality machines in the industry. All in all, it was a marvelous motorcycling weekend in New York City.
