Willie G and Nancy made a guest appearance at Michael Lichter’s Motorcycles as Art industry party to check out the work of the young bloods.
American Iron hasn’t left off the throttle since we pulled into Sturgis with our friends the Veterans Charity Ride to Sturgis. It’s been a crazy four days, from American Flat Trackers flying around the Buffalo Chip in the inaugural TT to some of the most hairball drag races we’ve seen in quite some time to watching old dogs Joe Kopp at 48 and Brad Spencer at 55 show the young bucks how its done after finishing 1-2 in the Super Hooligan races. Michael Lichter’s Motorcycles as Art exhibit titled “Old Iron – Young Blood” is stellar as usual and his industry party was jam-packed with the work of outstanding young builders, but once again old school almost stole the show when Willie G and Arlen Ness showed up. Nights are usually spent under the stars in the amphitheater of The Chip to catch that night’s headlining band. While Lynyrd Skynyrd had to cancel last sec, Blackberry Smoke did its best to help fill the void.
