AB 2972 Proposed to Stop Motorcycle Profiling In California

Motorycle Anti-Profiling Legislation to be heard in the California Assembly Committee for Public Safety

Assembly members Ana Callabero and Kevin Mullin have introduced AB 2972, seeking to prohibit state and local law enforcement agencies from profiling motorcyclists in California.

Motorcycle profiling is a pervasive problem in California, where riders are often targeted because of the outlaw stereotype. Individuals and groups of motorcyclists are regularly victims of selective enforcement.
