ARCH Motorcycle Unveils 2018 KRGT-1, ARCH 1s and ARCH Method 143 at EICMA

ARCH 2018 KRGT-1, ARCH 1s and ARCH Method 143

ARCH Motorcycle unveiled three motorcycles at EICMA today, (l-r) the 2018 KRGT-1, ARCH 1s, and ARCH Method 143.

Last time we popped in to ARCH Motorcycle Gard Hollinger said the company had a new model in the works. Turns out Ryan Boyd and the ARCH engineering team have been busier than we thought as it unveiled a triad of motorcycles at EICMA today, the 2018 KRGT-1, ARCH 1s, and ARCH Method 143.

No doubt these new models will be built with the exacting precision of the original KRGT-1. Hollinger and his team have a microscopic attention to detail. Over 200 parts on the first KRGT-1 were made in-house and that number of proprietary parts has undoubtedly climbed with the addition of the latest models. ARCH Motorcycles blend power and elegance, each one tailored to a rider like a fine Italian suit. But believe me, though these motorcycles have an abundance of curbside appeal, they’re industrial strength bikes with big power and a meticulously designed chassis capable of shredding mountain roads.

That said, here’s a rundown of the latest KRGT-1 and the two new models courtesy of ARCH Motorcycle.

2018 ARCH KRGT-1

2018 KRGT-1
The original ARCH KRGT-1 launched in 2015. The purpose and goals were to introduce a custom tailored, performance cruiser that could be ridden aggressively and also be comfortable for long distances. The newest refined version of this vision will launch in 2018 with a focus on ergonomic enhancements to the bodywork. Other improvements include, updated front suspension, upgraded brakes with optional ABS and EURO 4 compliance.

This model is sport influenced with a more aggressive riding position while still keeping hold of its performance cruiser formulation. ARCH Method 143
Forward thinking and engineering artistry has been a foundation for ARCH Motorcycle. This focus accelerated ARCH in introducing its first concept production motorcycle. Featuring a Carbon Fiber Mono-Cell chassis, this progressively designed machine will be limited to 23 units. The layering design concept and elegant craftsmanship of the bodywork includes leather, carbon fiber and artfully programmed CNC machined aluminum.

The decision to launch these motorcycles at EICMA isn’t coincidental as it has actively pursued broadening its buyer-base overseas. ARCH recently partnered with Swiss race engineering company Suter Industries who helped ARCH make its motorcycles EURO-4 compliant. Suter Industries also became the European importer and distributor of ARCH Motorcycles. On the flipside, ARCH is now the exclusive North American importer and distributor of Suter’s ultra-light, wicked fast two-stroke race bikes, the Suter MMX 500 and MMX 2 Moto2. With its goal of “Engineering Motorcycle Luxury” ARCH is forging ahead full throttle with its latest offerings.
