Harley-Davidson Sales Drop Again in 2018
Harley-Davidson yesterday reported another sales decline for 2018, adding more pressure on the new motorcycle models HOG has announced but not yet released.
In 2019, Harley expects to sell between 217,000 and 222,000 motorcycles worldwide – less than the 229,000 motorcycles sold in 2018. This includes a 10% drop in the domestic US market sales.
Harley-Davidson has announced they are planning 16 new motorcycle models in the next few years, including one or more electric motorcycle, a dual-sport Harley and a street fighter Harley-Davidson.
The LiveWire, Harley’s first electric motorcycle, is scheduled to hit dealers this year with prices approaching $30,000.
