Chaos Cycle’s head honcho George Stinsman is the man with a plan. That plan is to transform a stock 2010 Harley Dyna Super Glide into a super ride. That ride will serve as the 2018 Official Bike Week Motorcycle. Someone is going to win this custom Dyna during the official drawing March 17, 2018. We hope it’s you.

First and foremost, this project wouldn’t be possible without the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce who asked us to once again spearhead the building of the 2018 Official Bike Week Motorcycle. We’ve also got to give a huge shout-out to George and Chaos Cycle for stepping up to the plate and tackling this build. As if managing both a shop and online retail store wasn’t enough, somehow he still found time to work on the Super Glide. But we know we partnered with the right guy because Chaos Cycle builds have graced the pages of many a magazine and won top honors at numerous shows. In fact, we’ll be running a feature on George’s “Thug” bike in a future issue of American Iron Magazine, so stay tuned.

A long list of sponsors and supporters also deserve a big round of applause for contributing parts to the project. We’re fortunate that some of the hottest companies in the industry wanted to be a part of it. Because of them this bike is going to be fuego!

To spice up the look of the front of the 2010 Super Glide a Memphis Shades Café Fairing was just the ticket. It’s got a sweet shape to it, is small enough so it ties right in with the street tracker look George was aiming for but big enough to provide a little buffer from the wind. It’s one piece, is made of aircraft-grade Lucite, and comes with Memphis Shades’ trigger-lock mounting hardware. One caveat though. On the Official Daytona Beach Dyna George swapped out the stock fork for an inverted fork off a GSX-R750 sportbike. We told you this thing is going to be a real ripper! The Memphis Shades Café Fairing is designed to fit a stock Dyna so George had to make a new bracket to mount it on. The fairing comes from the factory with a gloss black finish but can easily be painted. Of course we had ours custom painted to match the new color scheme of the bike.

Daytona Dyna

The Memphis Shades Café Fairing on the 2018 Official Bike Week Motorcycle is built specifically for 2006 – 2014 FXDC Super Glides, but is also available for most Dyna and Sportster models. The Trigger-Lock mounting hardware is pretty trick as it “features an innovative system that allows you to quickly and easily remove your windshields without the use of any tools.”

We’re loving the direction the build is going. If you like it too, here’s how you can enter for a chance to win. Tickets are $50 each with a maximum of 4500 tickets sold. If you purchase two, you’ll get an extra entry for free. Buy four and you get two extra entries! This is a chance to own a one-off custom Dyna that will have a bike show pedigree pedigree but is built to be ridden hard and fast. Be the envy of your riding buddies. Win this bike!
