Rock, Rumble & Rebellion Chronicles: American Iron Cover Bike #352
Just got a peek at American Iron Magazine Issue 352 and lo-and-behold, guess what’s on the cover? The Rock, Rumble & Rebellion bagger! That particular magazine is our 2017 Sturgis issue and if you’re headed to the Black Hills anytime soon the custom 2017 Street Glide will be on display at Black Hills Harley-Davidson the last couple weeks in July before heading to the Sturgis Buffalo Chip during the rally. Got wind that Woody, the captain of the Buffalo Chip ship, might be giving the hot rod bagger a shakedown with a blast down the drag strip during Crazy John’s Street Drag Invitational. Maybe that’s a crazy rumor, but you never know what you’re going to see at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip.
So what’s so special about this particular 2017 Harley Street Glide you say? For one, many of the Kuryakyn parts found on it hadn’t even hit the market when they were installed. This includes just about every item from Kuryakyn’s Precision Line, some of the first covers and trim created specifically for Harley-Davidson’s Milwaukee-Eight engine. The Rock, Rumble & Rebellion bagger was the first motorcycle equipped with Kuryakyn’s latest Hypercharger ES, a forward-facing intake made of A380 aluminum with ram-air style inlets. It was outfitted with Kuryakyn’s Riot Floorboards a couple months before they were released to the public. Same goes for the Kuryakyn Speedform Saddlebag Extensions. And the Crusher Custom Headers are a one-off set you’ll only find on the RRR bagger.
In addition to seeing the debut of a slew of new Kuryakyn products, the Rock, Rumble & Rebellion bike features some of the hottest bagger products around from other companies, too. FMB Choppers’ Razorback Drag Bars inject a little club-style badness to the build. The addition of an ODC Inverted Front End is a sweet upgrade to the front end. The bagger rocks premium Performance Machine Formula Wheels front and back and the slick fastback seat was custom designed by Mustang Seats.
If that isn’t enough to whet your appetite, the talented team at Gilby’s Street Department applied the custom paint. Add up the sum of its parts and you’ve got a stand-alone, highly collectible Street Glide that’s going to make whoever buys it one happy camper. Because this thing is up for grabs and somebody’s riding this baby home! Interested parties can contact the Sturgis Buffalo Chip at 605-347-9000.
And be sure to check out American Iron Magazine’s website and social media channels during the 2017 Sturgis Rally. We’ll be bringing you much of the zaniness the Sturgis Buffalo Chip has to offer along with other daily coverage and posts. Let’s get ready to Rock, Rumble & Rebel, it’s almost rally time!
